Church Life

CHERRY.jpg

Kevin Cherry is also responsible for our Ministry to Men for All Saints and St Richard’s. Its purpose is to encourage all men to realise their God-given potential, to glorify Him in their families, relationships, work and personal ministry, and to increase the involvement and effectiveness of men as leaders in our churches. Practically this means providing pastoral care, teaching and guidance through existing men’s ministries and new opportunities. Please contact Kevin if you have any pastoral needs or questions. 613174

IRENA MORRISON.jpg

Irena Morrison is responsible for our new Ministry to Women at All Saints and St Richard’s (primarily within the 45-65 age group).
Through this ministry women are to be encouraged to use their God–given gifts to play their full part within the Church Family and within their relationships outside the church, and also to deepen their relationship with God

'R&B' is the 20-30s group at All Saints. Anyone in this age group will be warmly welcomed to this thriving group. The name stands for 'rooted and built-up' and comes from a Bible verse (Col2v7-8) . Our aim is that everyone, whatever their previous Christian experience, or lack of it, would be rooted in Christ and built-up in him.

The All Saints Seniors Circle was established in the last few years, to meet the growing needs of older people.

It has a varied and interesting programme of speakers and activities, and there is always an afternoon tea. It takes place bi-monthly, on the first Wednesday of the month, in the Church Centre.

What would Jesus say...

“Why does God let good people die young?” “If God is so powerful, why doesn’t he sort out Zimbabwe, Iraq and Afghanistan?” I have asked lots of people recently what question they would like to ask God, and this kind of question was by far the most common.

Sometimes...

Noah’s Ark is a parent and toddler group run by members of the church family for the local community. Our aim is to show the love of Jesus in our community at the beginning of the 21st century. We aim to provide a relaxed and safe place for children to play and for their parent/guardian to enjoy the company of others. We offer parents the choice of registering for either our Wednesday or Friday sessions (both 10.00–11.30am). There is plenty of room for happy play, craft, singing and puppets each week and a few new additions we think parents and children will enjoy.
