Discovering Christianity
Discovering Christianity is an adult education course for anyone with questions about the Christian faith.
What's the idea?
The aim is to help you:
Who's it for?
The course has proved in experience to have wide appeal. It is for:
No Christian commitment or knowledge of the Bible is assumed.
What's the format?
Courses run both in the evening and the day-time.
Evening courses begin with a meal; day-time courses begin with coffee. A talk/lecture follows. Course members then break into groups for discussion. You can join in the discussion as much as you like, or just sit back and listen.
What's in the course?
The course covers the basics of the Christian faith in a clear and understandable way. The first session is called 'Christian faith: Boring, irrelevant or true?'.
When does the next Discovering Christianity Course start? Monday 15 September, morning or evening. We are planning to use slightly different material this time from recent courses: a very similar course called Christianity Explored www.christianityexplored.org We still have the same aims and ethos as the Discovering Christianity Course in Crowborough has always had.
