The Justice and Peace Group was launched in 2003 on the belief that God hates bullying and loves justice and peace. He wants Christians to stand up for the victims: children exploited for labour or sex, poor countries suffering from unfair trade rules imposed by rich and powerful countries, Christians persecuted for their faith … and many more.

An Encourager is a Christian friend, chosen by you or (if you prefer) by the leaders, who will support you and advise you as you seek to read the Bible regularly and learn from it.

Many have found their Encourager invaluable in helping them keep going as Bible-reading Christians.

Leaders Edward and Carole Humphreys 662759.

The Rainbow Drama Group regularly provides supporting sketches and dramatic readings for church services as well as entertainment for other church events, plays, theatre workshops and street theatre.

Our well-established Music Group leads the singing at the 10.45 and 6.30 services using a wide range of contemporary songs to encourage and help the congregation to worship God. They are increasingly being used on other occasions such as Picnic on the Green and weddings and have developed a secular, but thoughtprovoking, repertoire for use in informal outreach events.

All Saints Walkers are a friendly group of all ages that enjoy the Sussex and Kent countryside, the opportunity for some exercise, and the chance to meet new and old friends. We meet in All Saints Coffee Room, leaving at 11am in winter months and 12 noon in the summer, returning by 3.30-4.0 pm.

We walk on the last Saturday of each month, about 4-5 miles with a shorter or longer route usually available, and have a picnic en route. Everyone with any church background or none is very welcome. For more details please contact Monica 664285.

“Be my witnesses…to the ends of the earth”
The Mission Awareness Committee meets bi-monthly and has four basic functions:

  • Recruiting and vetting potential Mission Partners.
  • Supporting and encouraging Mission Partners.
  • Contributing towards financial support for Partners and projects.
  • Communicating with the church family to increase commitment to our World Mission vision.
  • A group meets on the second Monday of each month in the church at 12.15 pm to pray for our Mission

Any big church can be daunting, and All Saints is no exception. We all need to find a small group of people within the larger church family with whom we can feel safe and learn more about Jesus Christ and the Bible. That is what House Groups provide. House Groups meet every two weeks in someone’s home,
to pray together, to catch up, to discuss part of the Bible and to socialise. Most meet on a Thursday evening but some groups meet on other week-day evenings or during the day.

    Spring Program

In the beginning was the Word Our six studies taking us from January to May, either side of the Lent Course, are in the first three chapters of John’s Gospel. Lots of people think that because we can’t see God we have to guess whether he exists and if so what he is like. John tells us why we don’t have to guess any more. Amazingly God has now made it easy to know what he is like because in Jesus we can meet God in the flesh through the pages of John’s gospel. But Jesus the light both reveals God to us and shows us the truth about ourselves.
