The Mission Awareness Committee meets bi-monthly and has four basic functions:
A group meets on the second Monday of each month in the church at 12.15 pm to pray for our Mission
Partners, and other urgent needs. All are welcome to join us for these meetings. We also encourage everyone to demonstrate their support by regular giving using the pink envelopes or banker’s order (speak to Robin Hatton 654048) and by praying. Updates about the Mission Partners are included in the bi-monthly Hotline sheet distributed with the church newsletter.
Our current Mission Partners are: Judy Acheson with CMS in the Congo; Jacky Bonney in Delhi; James
Brackpool in Canada; Jo Cornish with RETRAK in Kenya; Nan & Ron George, World In Need; Mark Knight with 24/7; Harrison Mungai Macharia in Kenya; Tony Neeves with Compassion International; Lizzie Rowland-Smith in Chester; Andrew Smith with Scripture Union in Birmingham.
Chairman Wim Mauritz 524347 Secretary Jane Cooper 661286 Members: Chris Benton, Jonathan Brooks, Nan George, Susie Graham, Sheila Hatton, Monica Hopkins and Annetta Surtees-Lugg.

The CMS Fellowship meets bi-monthly for prayer and planning and to listen to Audio Mission CDs which give the latest news of work and projects of the Church Mission Society. As well as supporting CMS in a general way,
the Fellowship group encourages support of the Christian youth leaders in DR Congo trained by Judy Acheson (our Mission Partner). This Agape youth team which she has developed with them throughout the whole country plays an important role in reconciliation work and inculcating Christian values in the post-war situation there.
Anyone interested in supporting this work in prayer is very welcome to join our bi-monthly meetings. More information from Wendy Veasey (661094) or Monica Hopkins (664285). Other members include John Barrows, Peggy Boycott, Barbara Kennell, Alan Tate and Eric Wendy Harrison (treasurer).
