Please pray for the influence of Roses are Read on Sunday. Pray for good attendance and for much to be raised towards our flower festival in October. May God be glorified.

Our well-established Music Group leads the singing at the 10.45 and 6.30 services using a wide range of contemporary songs to encourage and help the congregation to worship God. They are increasingly being used on other occasions such as Picnic on the Green and weddings and have developed a secular, but thoughtprovoking, repertoire for use in informal outreach events.
The group consists of singers of all ranges and various instrumentalists including guitar, drums, bass, trumpet, flute, sax, harmonica and anything else they can lay their hands on!
New members who have a heart to worship in a contemporary idiom, can commit themselves to rehearsals
(Tuesdays from 8pm) and services and have a good level of musicianship will always be welcome to join the group. Potential members should contact Duncan Fraser (picture on left)on 667823 or Gillian Piper on 665751 or Michael Brackpool on 663149
Over the last year a number of instrumentalists have gathered on occasion to form an Orchestra to lead congregational worship at some services. Although still in the developmental stage this has been widely appreciated and will continue over the next year. We plan to play about once a month at the 6.30 service and if you are interested in dusting off the violin you stumbled across during a clear-out please contact Duncan Fraser
