Church Centre

For many years the church-family at All Saints was aware that it was beginning to outgrow its existing building. After much prayer, planning and hard work, the new All Saints Church Centre was opened in the spring of 2000.

The aspect of the church from Chapel Green has barely been changed, but this masks the huge expansion and improvement in the rooms and space which we now have. They have been built for use by the church-family itself, and also as a resource for the whole community of Crowborough.

The church itself has been hugely extended, creating a light, airy and dignified space for our main services. Visitors regularly say how impressed they are by the new building, and how well the old and the new blend together. The church is also highly flexible, and has been used for concerts, and even to host a cabaret evening!

The church is only part of the new Church Centre. There are a number of differently sized, well-equipped halls, including a commercial-standard kitchen. Several groups and organisations in Crowborough regularly use our rooms for their activities. Click here for details on hiring the halls.

People often assume that the £2.5 million which the building cost came from central Church of England funds. In fact, almost all the money was given by hundreds of members of the All Saints church-family, inspired by the vision of how a new building could be used in God's service.

Anyone is welcome to come and look round at any time. Along with Sundays, the Church and Church Office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday mornings. Our Prayer Chapel is also open at these times for quiet prayer and reflection.
